Bread Choc Puff

About the Recipe

When I travel to Taiwan before, I eat this lovely puff with chocolate filling inside. It is so good plus warm choc inside especially in Taipei's autumn breezy weather made it a perfect combination! Then I saw a video somewhere on Tiktok that you can make it just by using leftover bread and not using pastry puff. So, I gotta try it.


  • Bread

  • Chocolate bars (any choc you want)

  • Bread Crumbs


  1. Lay your bread and roll it with a dough roller (pencanai doh) or any roller you can find to make it thin & flat.

  2. Then make a round shape using glass.

  3. Put chocolate bar (cut into small pieces) as a filling into the bread. 

  4. Dip the bread into egg and bread crumbs.

  5. Fry it until golden or when the choc is melted. (Around 5 minutes or so).
